Have You Been Deceived?

And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,
2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
I remember that promise and for more than 50 years I searched for that new heart and the new me. But, as hard as I looked, I never found him. Not until, I discovered there was more to salvation than what I was led to believe. That new me never materialized until I discovered I needed to be a Disciple of Jesus Christ, not just a saved Christian. The power to change comes from action, not simply believing. I am not talking about working for salvation like the Catholics and Jehovah Witness’s do. I’m talking about working out your salvation like Paul said to do.
Philippians 2:12 KJV
“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling”. There is a difference. Click the “New Me” button to find your new heart; the new you!

I can confirm that if you do as stated above, your life in Christ WILL change. The decision for me to actually do it, took some time, but I have been trying to find that new heart for more than 50 years. My Christian walk looked like all the other Christians I knew, just another defeated Christian whose life never really changed. I did not simply want to do another program, event or activity.
But, I found this to be truly scriptural and, only after really agonizing over it, I decided to count the cost as commanded by Jesus and proceed. If satan has beaten you to the point that you maybe thinking YHVH can’t truly want to save you regardless of the prodigal son story; think about this:
For no one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws them to Me, and at the last day I will raise them up. Joh 6:44.
That verse says you are here searching for YHVH’s truth because YHVH is giving you the desire to to so. So, don’t blow thru this article and then put it in the “read” pile. That new heart is just around the corner!
OH, one more thing. Don’t let the enlighten know it all Christian tell you this is legalism. They’ll bring up the thief on the cross and tell you he didn’t have time to work out his salvation. DUH! Your not on the cross and apparently have a little more time than he did. Don’t waste it!
